How To Use A Call Center To Close Sales In Your Business Opportunity

No one wants to hear the word NO. Rejection is still a fear many of us have not conquered.

Some people feel intimidated talking to prospects over the phone.

We hear that the “fortune is in the follow-up”. This is where many marketers fail.

If you are working a job and have a family, there is not enough time in the day to contact enough prospects to see decent results in your business.

Many online network marketing companies are now incorporating professional sales centers or call centers to pre-qualify prospects, follow-up with prospects and help their members close sales within their business opportunity.

The reason why this is effective is because many new and even some seasoned marketers are not comfortable talking to others about how to make money online. Many become paralyzed by the thought of having to pick up the phone and call a prospect or give a presentation.

This is how a call center works:

Your lead responds to your advertisement and visits your website.

The prospect fills out a form on the website (usually their name and email address) and are redirected to a tour where they can learn more about the business. Typically the tour includes information on the business, the product and the compensation plan.

At the end of the tour your prospect is given a choice to either join the business or call an 800 number or click a button where they can fill out a form to receive a call back. The form will ask for their name, email, phone number and the best time to call them back. The form is forwarded to a call center representative who will call your prospect immediately.

If someone requests a call back you can be sure that this is indeed a hot lead.

The call center is typically staffed by former marketers or sales representatives with experience in answering questions, handling objections and closing sales. The call center representatives know what "closing questions" to ask to get your prospect to sign up for the business.

The call center representative will position you as a leader using edification.

Some call center will pre-qualify your prospects only. They will ask your prospects specific questions to gauge their interest in joining a business. Once a qualified lead has been established this information is forwarded to you

There are a number of call center services available. Some call centers are specific to a particular business opportunity and will only close sales for that particular business while others are generic and will close sales for any business.

The cost to use a call center is very inexpensive. Again, some businesses include the cost of the call center in the fee to join the business while others online businesses provide the service free of charge. If you are using a stand online call center the cost may be per call or a set price per month.

I have used and still use call centers to close sales for my business with great success. If you have a fear of speaking to people over the phone or simply do not have enough time to do presentations or answer questions then I highly recommend using a call center to prequalify or close your sales.

Here are two call centers. The first is a business that has a call center that closes sales for its members and the second is a lead generation company that has a call center that pre-qualifies your leads.

$150 Fast - Provides 1025 highly targeted business opportunity leads that you can use to market any business, a robust marketing website and a lead management company that will send one followup letter to your prospect. Secret To Using Traffic Exchanges To Generate Web Traffic

One of the easiest ways to get traffic to your website is through Traffic Exchanges.

What is a Traffic Exchange?

According to Wikipedia.com, a traffic exchange is a type of website which provides a service for webmasters in exchange for traffic. It is similar to the autosurf concept with the exception that traffic exchanges usually use a manual rotation

Members sign up for an account with a traffic exchange and earn credit that can be used to show their website in the traffic exchange rotator.

Typically, anyone seeking traffic to their website can use a traffic exchange to get real people looking at their website. However, keep in mind that the person viewing your ad only has a 10-20 seconds so your website/ad must peek their curiosity. A long website with a bunch of words will not get read.

Also, if your time is valuable; click hundreds of ads every day may not be appealing. If you are short on cash click ads to receive credits may be the option for you.

The steps below outline how to get your website/ad read by traffic exchange users without having to click on ads. This method is not free BUT it is simple and it works.

Step 1. Create a splash page.

You only have 10-20 seconds to capture your prospects attention. Your visitor is clicking for credits so your ad must get their attention. You can always test this to see if you receive any opt ins by using your $150 site but if you go to the TE's you will see that the majority of the ads are splash pages. The goal here is to get the prospect to click on your ad to learn more. I have seen a few splash pages that include an autoresponder form.

Here is an example of a splash page I created for our co-op that will be running on the TE's: http://www.close-the-sales.com/150lcp.htm

If you need some examples or resources to create capture pages please let me know. You can also sign up at some of the Traffic Exchanges below then review some of the ads that are being advertised.
Step 2. Choose a Traffic Exchange (TE). You can set up more than one. There are tons of traffic exchanges. You do not have to sign up for the TE's I recommend. What is important is that you set this up on auto pilot. We don't want everyone advertising on the same TE.

Alexa.com ranks the Traffic Exchanges that get the most visitors. Please review this list also. Your team leader may also have a list
of TE's.

TE's:
Traffic Swarm - Recommended. I've used Traffic Swarm for over 5 years. I still use them today!
Adland Pro - Over 100,000 members. You can receive a lot of credits for a low price. Go to the site and click the TE link at the top.
Soaring 4 Traffic - Just signed up for this one.
Pro Click Exchange - Just signed up for this one

Step 3. Either purchase credits or upgrade. I typically purchase credits. You will need a lot of credits. Adland Pro offers the most credits at a reasonable price.

Step 4. Set up your account to add credits to your link automatically. You can do this so you will not have to surf for credits. If you prefer surfing for free that is up to you but you will need to surf a lot of sites in order to accumulate enough credits to show your website
in the traffic exchange. This can work BUT it is very time consuming.

Each TE has its own directions for auto assigning credits so please follow the sites directions.

Getting Traffic Using Credit Based Safelist Marketing

A safelist is simply a group of individuals who have expressed an interest in receiving promotional emails from other subscribers of the list. There can be hundreds if not thousands of subscribers to one safelist.

Back in early 2000 when spam was beginning to become a serious issue, online marketers used safelists as a way to “safely” market their product or service via email. In safelists, marketers have expressed an interest in receiving your email promotion in exchange for you viewing their email promotion

Over the years the old way of safelist marketing has become ineffective and only resulted in filling your email account with thousands of email messages with no guarantee that anyone would look at your email promotion.

Credit-based safelists actually solved this problem. Again, it is based on the premise that you will receive email messages from other participants in the safelist in exchange for sending your message to the safelist. A credit-based safelist awards credits to individuals who view an email from safelist participants for 15-20 seconds. These credits can be used toward sending a message to the entire safelist (based on the number of credit you have in your account).

Some credit-based safelists offer memberships that will credit your account with up to 10,000 or more credits per month. This will give you ample credits to market your product or service to the safelist. Credit based safelists also offer safelist subscribers the option of upgrading their safelist account to receive additional benefits like additional credits, the ability to email the list every day and the ability to send email ads in HTML or Hypertext Markup Language.

To make your message stand out above the rest it is recommended that you use HTML. There are a number of free HTML editors online that you can use to add color, text and images to your email message. You can also copy and paste the HTML code from your website and paste it into the safelist email section.

Remember: the majority of individuals who are using safelist are looking for traffic and sales. Create a lead capture page that includes a section for your prospects to insert their name and email address. To get the most out of safelist marketing I recommend offering your prospects something of value. This could be a report on how to effectively use credit based safelist to market online or how to drive 500 visitors to your site daily. Again, you only have 15-20 seconds to get their attention. Give your prospect something of value and once they opt-in to receive your free information you will have a potential subscriber that you will be able to market other products and services to in the future.

Using Article Marketing To Generate Web Traffic And Leads For Any Site

The lifeline of your business is leads.

You need a flood of hungry prospects reaching out to you on a daily basis asking YOU for more information. You can never have too many leads...

But how do you get 'em is the question right?

A couple of days ago I barely touched on list building and hinted at the importance of creating a database.

Let's elaborate...

Do you ever study the marketing models of some of the greatest companies on the planet?

1-800 Flowers is a great example. They use direct mail, TV, radio, the Internet and they're in your face anytime you even think about flowers.

They're using every possible form of advertising to create their lists.

Yes, the goldmine (and yours too) is in your database. Now the question still remains...how do you begin creating one?

There are a TON of ways to make this happen. In most of our correspondence regarding this topic we'll discuss how to make that happen using the net because for most people it's the path of least resistance and typically, offline marketing requires greater profit margins

that most network marketing companies don't provide (this is not a bad thing we just don't want you getting financially upside down).

I'll also assume that you already have a data capture page that's dealing with the benefits provided by your products and services. Now the question that comes into play is...

I NEED TRAFFIC TO MY SITE!

Without traffic your site is nothing more than a weed blowing in the wind in the middle of the desert. Like finding a needle in the Atlantic Ocean.

It's probably not going to happen.

So, let's talk about some GREAT entry ways of getting good, quality traffic to your website(s)...

There are lots of traffic options...

There are countless of paid banner and text networks such as: AdEngage, Adbrite, Adonnetwork, etc. There's also a lot of larger ones like ValuClick Media, Advertising.com, etc - the problem with the big dogs is that they require tens of thousands of dollars just to get started.

With that said...

Let's stick with what's proven to be effective WITHOUT breaking the bank.

Can't forget about web 2.0 stuff...

Youtube, Hubpages, Facebook, Stubleupon, etc...

There are a lot of them out there. These are some of the larger social networking sites that I would recommend signing up as quickly as possible.

Think the web 2.0 stuff is a fad? Think again. What's been the biggest struggle that search engines have had in recent years?

Content. They're looking for unique content and lots of it. They can't pick it up fast enough. That's really where 2.0 media comes into play.

They're spidering and snatching up the content sometimes within just a

few short hours of you publishing the information! There's no fad here. The quicker they pickup the content the faster that your prospects can find you with their Internet searches.

What about pay per click advertising?

I know, I know...

PPC has a bad rap right now, but there are ways of getting your traffic for nothing - or very close to nothing (I'll discuss some advanced goodies

in future articles).

Honestly though, there are a lot of benefits with using PPC advertising.

It's quick (you can be up and live within just minutes) and you're in control over every variable of your campaign. You control the keywords that you add to your campaign, the ad itself and the landing page that your prospect is taken to.

Yes, you do pay everytime someone clicks on your ad, but there are a lot of creating things that one can do to offset their click costs. It's really tough to beat the volume of clicks and overall traffic that Google Adwords can deliver for your business.

Ah, can't forget about article marketing. Writing articles and then putting them out online through www.ezinearticles.com, www.articlecity.com, andwww.articlesbase.com just to name a few is a GREAT thing to do.

This not only creates links back to your landing page (which is one of the ways you benefit from writing articles) but you also position yourself as the expert.

Remember all that positioning stuff we discussed over the past several days(and more coming too)?

Think about it...

Prospect types in something that relates to your business...

Prospect clicks on a link in the search engine (natural link NOT PPC)...

Prospect reads/scans your article...

Prospect clicks on the link at the bottom of your article and goes to your capture page...

Prospect reads/scans your data capture page and submits his/her information...

Think that prospect is really interested in what you have?

You bet. Before you even speak with this person they've already read a 400 word or so article as well as a data capture page before they ever submitted their information (on your site to create the lead).

Hmmm...

Not too shabby.

Those are a few starting points to going out there and getting some targeted visitors to your site. Yes, there are a lot more as well, but those are some great starting points to get the ball moving.

They're FUN and SIMPLE too!

Get out there and let's get started.

Happy Marketing,

How To Market Your Business In An Unstable Market

It doesn’t matter the size of your business; most business are feeling the bite of this economic slump. Consumers are being more cautious with frivolous spending and opting to purchase items they need. More and more businesses are seeking cost effective ways to market their product or service without going bankrupt spending millions on television, radio and print ads.

How can you continue to increase your customer base, sales and revenues while decreasing spending on advertising?

There are many cost effective ways to continue to build your brand recognition including: Press Releases, Video Email, Video Marketing and Social Networks.

Press Releases

Press Releases are probably one of the most cost effective tools for advertising but very underutilized. A press release is a written or recorded communication used for the purpose of announcing something claimed as having news value. Press releases are typically promoted through a press release service or directory and sent to news media outlets and news editors. Press Releases can be used to announce a launch of a new products or services, events, promotions, etc. Press releases can help drive targeted traffic to your website for little to no cost.

Video Email

As competition in the marketplace increases, businesses are seeking affordable ways to increase brand awareness among their customers. Video email allows the customer to visually see and connect with you and your product or service. A recorded video stream is attached to the email message. When the prospect opens the message they will be able to view your video presentation. Using video emails can add credibility, increase sales, reduce ad costs, and improve customer relations.

Video Marketing

Over the last 2 years, YouTube have virtually taken over the video sharing market. When Google purchased YouTube in 2006 for $1.65 billion dollars many took notice. Today, videos hosted on video sharing sites receive millions of views daily. This marks a shift in advertising as we know it.

Video marketing; much like video emails, give you the opportunity to speak directly to your customer about the benefits of your companies products and services. Videos can be created using a camcorder, digital camera or web cam. Videos can be posted on video sharing sites for free. Once a video goes viral (visitors began sharing your video with others) you can expect thousands of visitors to your website almost instantly.

According to Dave Witzig from ShopNBC, customers that watch videos; specifically product videos convert at twice the rate of customers who do not.

Social Networking

A social network is a community of online people who share interests and/or activities, or who are interested in exploring the interests and activities of others. Most social networks are web based and provide a variety of ways for users to interact.

Many online networkers are using social networks to build relationships with like-minded individuals. Social networks are free to join and include a variety of topics and subjects.

It is important to note that joining a social network and simply advertising your product or service may be considered as spamming. You want the members within the social network to view you as an expert on the discussion topic.

As with forums, you want to add value to the social network by providing relevant content, answering questions and offering advice.

Include your website information in the profile section of the social networking site to direct potential business associates or customers to your product or service. People are more inclined to purchase from you if they trust and respect you.

How To Get Free Traffic From The Search Engines

You can literally spending thousand of dollars on Google Adwords
trying to get the number one spot in their search engine.

Over the last few months there has been an unflux of social networking
sites like Myspace, Facebook, Squidoo and Hubpages showing up in the
search engine results allowing marketers to gain free. organic traffic.

Many have learned that social network sites can be one of the best
ways to get your site ranked high in Google (page 1 or page 2).

According to Wikipedia a "social networking" website is a site
that focuses on building online communities of people who share
interests and activities, or who are interested in exploring the
interests and activities of others. Most social network services
are web based and provide a variety of ways for users to interact,
such as e-mail and instant messaging services. There are literally
hundreds of social networking sites."

You can pay someone to get your site ranked high in the search engines
with no guarantee of results or you can learn how to do it yourself.

Here is a summary of how to get your site ranked in Google for any keyword:
1. Create a blog. If you don't have a blog you can get one

Your blog can be about anything but its important
to keep it relevant to your specific topic. I would recommend
doing some keyword research and locating "long tail" keywords.
Example: "Foreclosure property under $200 in Chicago".

2. Your title should contain the keyword or keywords you are
trying to promote (traffic exchange, make money, foreclosure
properties for under $200)

3. Provide relevant content about your subject in the description. You can
research websites with similar topics. You don't want to copy or steal their
information so rewrite the information in your own words.

4. Link your social networking site "URL" to your blog. Include a link
to your website in your blog post.

Your goal is to get backlinks from websites with a Page Rank (PR) of 3 or above.
Page Rank is an algorithm that Google uses to determine the relevancy
of your website content to the keyword being searched.

Don't stop with just one blog or social networking site. The more relevant pages with
backlinks from PR 3 or above site the more traffic you will receive.
Focus on creating at least 2-3 pages per week to acheive your desired traffic results.
